Global Technology Conference Session 1

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 2:15 PM to 3:45 PM · 1 hr. 30 min. (Asia/Istanbul)
Proceedings GTC

Information

Since its launch in 2006 by the WLGA in Chicago, the GTC has grown into a central pillar of Liquid Gas Week.

The impact of GTC showcasing every year innovation in the Liquid Gas industry, can be recognised by looking at the increase by more than 150 million tonnes of the global consumption and supply over the past two decades, reaching an estimated 380 million tonnes today. During this period, GTC showcased hundreds of new technologies, ideas and applications, contributing to this growth, and helping ensure LPG remains at the forefront of the Liquid Gas industry.

This growth has enabled millions of new users to transition from traditional fuels to LPG, a cleaner, more efficient alternative, across residential, industrial, commercial, agricultural and transport sectors, including marine.

With similar growth projected over the next 20 years, GTC will continue to act as a catalyst for technological leadership and innovation, driving a strong pipeline from ideas and concepts down to real implementation cases in the market and across the industry.
